Being in Oneness

For this week of Gratitude, I'd like to share some powerful, beautiful work with you, work I am extremely grateful for as I walk this road of consciousness.

Welcome to CHAK-DALA Quest….buckle up your precious, gorgeous self and soul. The visual ride begins now!

We are modeling CHAK-dala Quest after our friend Sophia’s “Love Quest”. They are both about the journey into our selves and into Love. Sophia does her’s through her exquisite artistry with words, our version is through the art of Mandala….CHAK-dala.

This is our first foray into doing public and/or guided work with our CHAK-dalas and our work is always in a “State of Flux”.

We are spacing the Quest out over a week to let ideas and energies breathe. Because everything is a process even break-out, over-night successes are years and lifetimes in the making. This Quest, this journey is about standing in One-ness with the Vast-ness of the universe.

Disclaimer: we take every liberty with the words we use. Working with the energy of mandala and all its tendril-like connections…. is an area that needs new and more language to express what we are doing and sharing.
 
If we use the word prayer it has nothing to do with religion, when we use the word power, it has nothing to do with politics or electricity, maybe your own personal governing or personal electricity, but that is yours. Yours is up to you and only You.

Our intention is to gently steer you toward an experience of your true greatness by showing you reflections of you in sacred color and art.

The theme(s) this week is ONEness, COherence and VASTNESS.

ONE-ness with the many parts of our selves. This goes beyond being a mother, a professional athlete, a healer, a man or a woman, etc.   This is about rooting into our selves as spirit.

Glimpses of Oneness

This journey we are collectively taking does not begin at a starting gate and cross a finish line as if in a race. It is more a meandering...

Yes we are born here and one day will die, yet we do not know the length of this momentary life. If in fullness you embrace each now, you will catch a glimpse of eternity. In a perpetual dream state, there are some fleeting images and others that seem to regenerate tirelessly.

We are not built to “hurry this along” or “get there first”. We are, instead, here to absorb every nuance available; to accumulate a knowing of creation. Like sponges, with absorption there is a fullness. What spills out then is our knowing and the cycle begins anew. Saturated with awareness as creator sponges, we continue to allow for this knowing. Thus, excess creative drops are dispersed.

Still ours, yet “separate” from us. These sponge drops of creation can be observed now, as the absorption continues. Each piece complete unto itself, as well as part of the whole. There is a point, a moment, a realization that comes - “We are One”.

Glimpses of Oneness seep into our sponge self unbidden. This knowing cannot be called forth as it was never apart from you, just hidden. Once realized, desire emerges. It is the ultimate in satisfaction; complete awareness rests there. It waits for your discovery of itself. Patiently, joyfully and eternally this knowing is the very essence of creation – Your Eternal Essence.

Like memories of your first love, you hold these glimpses of Oneness deeply, fondly, and longingly. Found once, your existence can no longer be disputed. You are both weaver and cloth, weaving your thread into the fabric of creation with every now.

This human thread is held in the hands of Master Weavers. With skill and a willingness to take risks, true artistry emerges now. Self realizations simultaneously erupt universally and creation itself realizes its truth. We are unlimited.

We are the Ones we've been waiting for.

We are One

This journey we are on, called life, is one of the most spectacular trips available.  The experience of physical existence has within it every possibility.  This planet is filled with over 7 billion humans – there are many who choose to visit here.

To be clear, all facets of this life are known as possibilities before birth.  There are no tricks played or secrets kept.  In full awareness we incarnate, happy for the chance to live again.

This talk of an “experiment” may have led you to think otherwise – to think that you’d been duped and your plan to be here at all was made under false pretenses.  This is not how it works.  Before being human, the “you” that is, knows every aspect it has ever been, as well as the aspects of others.  It is not possible to “hide” the truth of you.  Knowledge of each other comes with contact.

This inability to deceive creates every possibility for clear choices and transparent decisions.  This kind of clarity goes away from the human as we dive more deeply into this “reality”.  All of this is part of our plan.

The thing that humanity offers us by way of experience is emotion/passion.  This is not to say that other beings are void of emotion, because they are not.  Humanity holds within its makeup a deep well of passion and belief in the sanctity of life.  The way in which mankind expresses love and beauty and hope and hate is unique; beneath it lays an unwavering faith and trust that it’s meant to be fair. Despots and dictators arise because they know that belief exists and there exists a chance at manipulation and perceived “power” because of it.  They are here to “play” with that.

Potentials for all possible ends of the spectrum of control are exciting.  When not human, there are limits as to how much emotion/feeling will be a part of creation.  There is desire and personality always.  Yet the extremes of passion are possible only in a life while human.  This is the source of unparalleled heights and depths of feeling; a wealth of addictions.

We have labeled these “addictions” as negative and “work” to overcome them.  This is interesting because they are the whole reason we are here.  It may be more prudent to celebrate them!  They make up the most exciting parts of you!

When addictions are referred to here, it is not in the sense of chemical addictions only – the kinds that are ingested.  It is behaviors; those that stimulate the process to create the chemical for you.  These behaviors become habitual because they afford a sensation you crave.  That is addiction.

It could be any behavior at all, yet it will lead always to a familiar sensation.  The thrill of that sensation excites you and inspires a desire for more, as if it were a drug.  In fact it is, but not a drug we are taking, one we are making.  You will search for opportunities in your days to do it again and again.

Consciousness implies an awareness of these physical tendencies, acceptance for them as facets of the personality and an understanding that they are not “faults” but very human traits – one of the reasons for being human at all. They are not “bad”; they are part of the program.  It becomes a challenge to remove “you” out of the equation; everything here is taken personally.

The ability to love and live without judgment is the goal here.  In order to embody unconditional love you must understand every condition that is its opposite.  The exquisite feelings of love, the thrill of victory, the agony of defeat – each of these are addictions.  You will repeat them until every nuance is understood.  This has been the plan. 

Today it is widely understood that many of the reasons for the most violent extremes of these emotions – the hardships and challenges of human slavery – have been fabricated.  There are beings who possess intimate knowledge of the human psyche and have used it to manipulate man for their own addictions of power and worship.  You are at a point now, the ultimate point in the plan, where you have a choice.

What will you do?  How will you judge?  Will you judge? What is unacceptable to you?  What does freedom mean?  Is such a thing as punishment necessary or is Karma enough?  Will you seek revenge? 

This is the choice of mankind and what is done here will reverberate to every other life in all of creation.

If Oneness motivates the decision, there exists a possibility for compassion that until this moment did not exist.  The force and effect of cruelty and pain is felt in each heart.  It is there now that the possibility for unsurpassed acceptance rests – agape.  Now that you know the truth, the power to change all of creation rests in your hands.

The slave has come full circle.  Ownership is not possible; a sovereign being realizes its possibilities for expression – all of them.  Knowing what you are capable of and what has been done before – what will you choose now?  The results are in.  This was an experiment to reach for the light.  It is within your grasp.  What you do now changes everything.

You are the Ones we’ve been waiting for.

Oneness:The Force of Creation

In Dan Millman’s “The Laws of Spirit” is found this wonderful explanation of Oneness:

“The ‘you’ who refers to it as ‘my’ house is of course separate from the house…The ‘you’ who refers to it as ‘my’ body – is that ‘you’ also separate from the body? …Language reflects our fundamental view of reality…The ‘you’ who speaks through the body, who refers to ‘my’ house, ‘my’ body, ‘my’ soul, ‘my’ higher self, is, in the truest sense, pure Awareness itself.”

This life force coursing through everything is, in every sense, creation itself.  It never stops.  Never. It is constant.  As are you.

The process of creation incorporates you into the surrounding field. It is interesting in 3D how you are drawn to areas in which you find the ground most fertile.  These areas are specific to you and you alone.

What determines the correct balance of conditions (for creating the life you want) will depend on your level of awareness, degree of control and current plan.  Sometimes, just for excitement, you enjoy surprising yourself.  Other times your creative endeavors follow a specific path – you set a goal and expect results.  The specificity of your plan has everything to do with the way it is achieved.

You are choosing, intending, desiring and thinking 24/7.  In order for a new plan or blueprint to insert itself into your psyche you need first a knowing of who it is you are in the present moment.  What has to happen next is a new definition of you.  All of the attributes you desire will have to be absorbed into your conscious picture of you, (creating “fertile ground ") – as well, and more importantly, into your sub-conscious picture of yourself. 

Think of only your desired outcome.  Here, as Garret John says in his latest video –“patiently refuse(s) to observe any ... casualties”.  Think only of that which you desire.  Look with new eyes.  See that which you are.

What is seen as you and believed as you will always be – first, how you see yourself.  As the field becomes permanent, things are not altered so much as created anew.

You will thus become so hyper aware of who it is you intend to be, that he or she will radiate into your every moment and conversation – all you know are the attributes he or she holds – nothing else is real. 

He or she is real – not in some future moment, but now, as you. Throw yourself into him or her with your entire heart – this is different than desire.  This is a knowing.  This is the method of a conscious creator.

You are the One you’ve been waiting for.

Emerging Oneness:Our Singing Heart

 

The purpose of life is individually determined yet collectively accomplished. There is not a right or correct path versus a wrong or incorrect path to take.  There is one central idea.  It underscores every other and becomes the unifying force.  This idea supposes that information begets growth which in turn results in more life.  We are here not to learn, is if students or children, but to collect information.  This information advances our collective knowledge and leads ultimately to expansion, diversification and growth. 

We are more accurately called scientists than students, in that the knowledge gained benefits our individual study / (ourselves). There is no way to fail – all information yields a benefit.

As we are connected, all information provides ultimately for all beings.  It is available to us as we become aware of it as a field of accessible data.  The difference between identifying yourself as a student versus a scientist may not sound very great.  Both are there to gather information.  Yet one expects to be given it from someone “above” them, while the other sets out to discover it him or her self.  Truth can only be self-realized.

The thing about being human is that so much of our everyday is filled to overflowing with programs (government, media ,religious and monetary control systems); there are no places you can go to escape this - save nature.  To be alone in nature is your best bet, your sanctuary.  It provides a possible respite from outside information and opinion.  It is the place most likely for truth to emerge. 

Truth is one thing that must awaken from within and be self discovered.  It can be led to through the words of others, but can only be self realized. 
 
This earth life has come now to a moment where many of us have accessed truth.  It has come about not through any particular mantra, method or repetition of words.  It has emerged from within and been recognized.

That being said, it is self actualized and as diverse and difficult to define as life itself.  We are not learning the truth that has been kept from us, as much as becoming the fullness of creation.  Expansion, growth and information have taken us collectively there.

The point here is to say that choice trumps all and the method currently utilized that is this life/your life is and has always been chosen by you.  If you find the choice not to your liking – choose again.  Anger is a symptom of dependence and assumes subservience.  We are creators and self defined, dependent and subservient to no one.

As more truths emerge we will be faced with decisions about their expression.  Unity demands an equal playing field.  The language we use either reinforces separation or invites oneness.

These are interesting times.  To navigate through them you won’t need someone else’s map – but rather intentional self-direction.  Once allowed to emerge, it will.  Yet you’ll have to recognize and encourage it for this to occur.  This can only happen with an open heart.

It is here where we are One.  Love, the unifying force coursing through life, supplies us with intelligent direction.  Give yourself a moment today and listen.

You are the One you’ve been waiting for.

20/20

Hindsight is always 20/20.  One day we’ll look back and realize how each puzzle piece fit together.  This is the tale of a planet and her challenge to evolve with all of the beings and life she supports.  It cannot be known in its fullness except from a distance.  It incorporates creation and truth, agape and unity.

There is a message from Turkey from a few days ago where oneness is palpable.  The latest Off world Message describes humanity working day and night to protect and create a new world.    Some recent movie releases mirror what is going on with “Rise of The Guardians”, “Warm Bodies” and “Now You See Me”.

We are producing, acting and watching – changing things on the fly as we move through each moment.  The point here is that we have no instruction manual.  This is Improv folks.  No one here has done this yet.  We have to trust, to rely on our selves, our senses, our intuition and our feelings.  Today’s events force us to trust our heart.

We are accustomed to relying on our mind.  Please follow along and we’ll go on a virtual trip.  You’ll have to trust.  You’ll need headphones.  Close your eyes.  This takes less than 5 minutes.  Ready?

Our minds can be fooled, in this case, with sound.  Pictures and events are potent as well.  You’ve lived a lifetime of manipulation, coercion and programming and you’ve believed it was real, true and just “the way things are”.  Did you feel the clippers? Did you sort of jump at the very end?  Was any of it “real”?  Understand that your mind did that.  Your mind can be very convincing. 

Your heart is the basis of truth.  Use it as the point of discovery as well.  This may take some practice.  Good!  This is how we will change everything.  Your reward will be absolute knowing.  Your heart is the place we unite. I will meet you there.

It is happening in Turkey, unplanned and without warning.  They are actualizing Oneness in real time, with every heart beat. 

Deep within we know what to do.  Love.  This is our shift.  We hold the power to direct it.  Let’s do so.  Take 5 minutes more and imagine it happening precisely as you dream it to be.  Feel it.  Hear it.  Believe it.  There will be naysayers and those who refuse to believe it’s possible.  There will be attempts to distract your focus.  Keep at it. You are a master creator.  Creation is what you DO.

There is a quote attributed to Ghandi, which may in fact have first been said by labor leader Nicholas Klein in a 1914 address to a labor union congress (Biennial Convention, Amalgamated Clothing Workers of America, 1914.): “First they ignore you. Then they ridicule you. And then they attack you and want to burn you. And then they build monuments to you. And that is what is going to happen…”

You know the truth.  The power is yours.  A very slick trick is still being played and you can choose what to believe.  We are participating in virtual reality, without headphones, with our eyes wide open. (Remember the barber shop?)  It is easy to forget who is in control, it all seems so real.  It is us.  Choose love, peace, prosperity, unity, joy.  Choose with your heart and believe. 

See the change you want to be in the world.  You are the One and the time is now.

Time to say goodbye

Moving now into this heralded “golden age”, we come to this – full realization.  Without separation there is only love. Any division takes place within, as it is there creation is birthed.  The spark of desire drives it all.

Collectively we awaken and begin to see past one or the other, to all.  We are One, there is no other.  The sharp division of days, ideas, people and their truth is everything but. 

A moment in time is indefinable, except by emotion.  There is no clock to signify it has begun or ended; no calendar to prepare for its emergence.  A moment simply happens.  It is unrecognized until it is reflected upon.

We hold now the possibility of reflection and self-determination.  It is within us.  We’ve moved through this pivotal date, 12/21/12; it’s time to say goodbye.  We can all agree on at least that – it is over.  Anticipation, prediction, preparation or inquiry is no longer necessary, whew!

Perhaps the reason for all the hoopla and the “end of times" label was to get us to understand that time is not the point.  There are those who tell us that the “dimension” beyond “third” is that of “time”.  We’ve talked before about our clocks not working.  I can report that there are periods of “time” when even my cell phone tells me it’s a different day and hour than most of this time zone seems to think.  This then requires a complete reset, with power source removed, to get back in sync.  Time appears to be a random and subjective measurement.

So, as we move through this moment now of “after the shift”, how will we proceed?  To be sure there will be more predictions and promises of dates and events; yet all fall under “the beginning times”.

We’ve hung tightly on to beliefs, definitions and attitudes.  This next phase is about letting go; of clocks, dates and ideas that separate.  All is One.  Unity is possible.  Oneness is perceived via the heart.  It is our head that clings tightly – our heart knows only freedom.  This moment we’ve collectively stepped into will utilize our heart as the primary organ of perception in a conscious way.

It’ll be okay to set as primary objectives things like understanding, equality, mutual benefit, collective progress, empowerment and universal success.  We’ll declare it to be so.  Because we are human, we’ll create this beginning in a unique and exciting way.  It’ll be just as we like it best, filled with passion, thrills and edge of your comfort zone choices.  It will have contrast and comfort, expansion and steady growth. 

This is our moment. It cannot be foretold, it must be felt.  There will come a point when we’ll look back and reflect, and perhaps agree “Those were the beginning times.”  For today though, dates no longer have relevance – it is only now that matters.  There is no such thing as late or missed your chance – we are exactly where we need to be.  We are the ones we’ve been waiting for.

Flying as One

It’s 15 degrees by the lake here this morning.  A dozen huge white herons are circling round and round, occasionally diving down and skimming the water.  This is unusual, seeing them working together like this.  They are more typically alone or in pairs.  They too are adapting to this constant, intense stream of love; they are acting as One. 

It is like watching a well choreographed dance – the sun gradually lifts the shadows from the backdrop of bare trees, as this flock of stark white feathered wings swim through the air in unison.  On the still waters beneath them, a hundred geese paddle quietly, mesmerized.  One by one the herons depart, as if on cue; after thirty minutes only a single pair remains, sweeping in an ever widening circle, eventually disappearing over the tree tops.  This silent demonstration of unity has finished.

The Hopi say that “the time for the lone wolf is over”.  Oneness will be like nothing we’ve ever experienced.  As these birds flew together this morning by some inner prompting, we too will move as One.

This is not patriotism, team spirit or family pride.  This is a deep inner resonance with life.  All of creation speaks and oneness is an amplifier, opening our senses to truth.  There are no wasted moments.  There is no useless creature and you do not have to take time out of your day to appreciate nature – there is no time.  Life is.  Every moment is an appreciation of creation.

The schedules and deadlines and lost moments will dissolve as illusions naturally do.  Life presents itself to us in all ways as a constant flow before our eyes – in faces, sunsets, laughter, trees, work and play.  Life becomes the only thing we do!  There are no jobs or days off or vacation – all is One.

Polarity was a trick, a magician’s illusion, so pervasive that it infiltrated every aspect of existence.  We have come to believe there is something other than us; that we are capable of inflicting pain or pleasure, loss or abundance and freedom or slavery without feeling it ourselves.  It’s a lie.

As Oneness envelops our every move, we’ll come to understand that the discomfort felt with each judgment, negative thought or harsh word, is just like stubbing your own toe.  All of us are mirrors.  This is the time to fall in love with your reflection without exception.  The care that we give to our loved one will be given still – as our understanding of “loved one” expands, so does love.

All of creation is love’s expression.  We are witnessing God in every moment.  

 Waiting is no longer necessary, we are the One.

The Artist

There is plenty of polarity to go around.  Revolutions all over the globe offer up a world view that is anything but united.  We are pushing the limits, testing the restraints, seeing just how far it will hold before it breaks.

Children do this.  Place a limit or a rule on the behavior of a child and he’ll immediately almost break it and watch what happens.  If there is no reaction she’ll move closer to breaking it, awaiting the repercussions.  If they are not decisive enough – the rules are blatantly ignored; to hell with the consequences!  What has been forbidden is just too good to ignore, at any cost.

Despite every effort to the contrary, oneness is upon us.  We as a species have seen beyond the chains that bind us.  We’ve decided that’s where we want to be; indeed we’ve discovered our truth.  There will be no stopping this shift until our unity is palpable on every shore and in each heart.

We’ve done this ourselves.  There has been One force that enlivened our transformation and that force is love.  We have chosen love.  As my son said a few days ago, we’ve tried everything else.  Nothing else works.  It is the truth of our very essence that is our power.  We are love.

We are moving very quickly now towards the galactic alignment that we’ve been told will signify the end of duality, a shift in our way of life.  Despite predictions and promises, none of us actually knows what it’ll look or feel like, not exactly.  Yet there is one thing that can be surmised from even a cursory view at current headlines.  We are coming together as never before.

Whether this is due to a criminal banking system, a corrupt government or a natural disaster; we have joined hands, hearts and minds to find solutions.  This is unity.  It gets stronger every day and is felt in surprising places.

The energy of our light is so very powerful.  It’s broken through the cabal-inflicted darkness and flooded the place.  There is nothing we can’t do.

This simple decision, to love, is transforming the world.  You are, without exception, exquisite.  Take a look into your eyes today and say hello to a piece of divinity. You did it!  You have hung in there at every impossible moment and met each obstacle.  You are here now because of your sheer will and absolute love.  In truth, many times it wasn’t that much fun.  You stayed anyway. You’re doing a great job.

I’m not sure what precisely you are here to do, yet I can tell you will full confidence what you are here to feel.  You are here to experience agape.  With every ounce of emotion you have, love yourself.  You are one in seven billion and absolutely perfect.  God, in putting this whole thing together, needed just one more piece in order to pull it off.  That piece is you.  You complete the puzzle; it is now a work of art.

This masterpiece that is creation is alive and crawling with artists.  Each moment there’s a new stroke, a bold color, or a subtle nuance added.  We are the painters and the patrons, the brushes and the paint, the canvas and the pencils, the mind, heart and soul of this work.  Our masterpiece evolves as we breathe in and out…love.  This world is an emission of our brilliance, a product of our combined agape.  Our eyes behold the reflection of One.

There is no other who holds the brush; this work is our very own.  We are the One we’ve been waiting for.

You!

We’ve reached the final day of this Quest!  It has been quite an adventure.  Focused on making it real, these last ten days did not disappoint.  We’ve “weathered the storm” beautifully!

Congratulations.  You have done it.  You are moving from talking the talk to walking the talk – Agape is in your pocket.  You realize now the truth of your divinity.

You may forget once in awhile and that’s okay, we are in new territory.  It takes a while to completely understand this foreign landscape.  Your internal GPS was only recently re-programmed. It’s no longer about how long things take or how much things are “worth”.  The value is found in the doing, not just in the result.  The worth is measured in your heart, and held there always.

What does life look like through eyes of Agape?  It looks like “Yes!”  You see co-operation, collaboration, unity and friendship.  Your days expand in unsuspecting ways.  The people in line for the cashier become opportunities to connect.  You are never bored and always looking around for someone to smile at, offer a helping hand or listening ear.  Life is full.

Oh, you’ll be tempted to ignore us but we are relentless!  We are everywhere you go, gifting you with opportunities to love and experience oneness.  This is a life of unity, a journey in the “next dimension”.  Your walls are down; you’ve embraced us rather than shield yourself from us.  

In this land of Agape, all is One.  The old rules don’t apply.  Everyone is “out of the box”.  You’ve been getting ready for this your whole life.  You’re finally here!  There is no one who knows better than you how much love you are capable of sharing – you are an infinite expression of agape.

The difference today is that you can see it; your eyes are open.  You’ll walk into this final month of 2012, this “Year of Revelation”, with clarity and conviction.  You are love.  Agape is where you start.  With every interaction and each conversation, all thoughts return to this.  There are no questions that you can’t answer with love.  Your method is uniquely suited to the specific spark of Source that is you.

Great job!

There hasn’t been much to say these last few days.  Not for lack of movement, but for an overwhelming need for silence.  It’s as if all of my words are being used up on the inside; there are no residuals remaining for this blog.

There has been a shift, and a clearing.  What stands in the place of a mind compelled to “do” is a soul content to “be”.  The world looks different.  On a physical level I sleep deeply, dream intensely and remember little.  The mental chatter has all but stopped.  There were headaches for the last week or so, but they too have left me.  Eating is different somehow; addictions to any particular food are gone right now.

It’s not like the challenges are gone from my life, it’s that they look merely like things to take care of.  They are not definitions of anyone; they are scenes in a play.

All around there is evidence of a different way to approach life. I brought my car in for service and received an unexpected Reiki healing, from the shop manager, right there in the showroom…what a gift!  Our children initiated some unexpected and unprecedented deep heart conversations...which if you have kids you know is beyond wonderful.  Everywhere I look there is healing and renewal.

The news reports won’t be the place to find evidence of this shift.  It will be told in our hearts.  Mine has opened more than I realized was possible.  It came unexpected and was not orchestrated by my mind.

Although you’ll hear and read of progress on financial and government fronts, the real answer will come from deep within you.  Everywhere now, folks are rising up.  We are answering the call in so many ways.  Evidence surrounds us.

It wasn’t long ago we were a people mentally enslaved and seemingly without choice.  Our self definition has radically altered.  Thanks to thousands of lightworkers and millions of people with hundreds in the headlines – we have found our voice.  It is a voice holding every possible range and it speaks just one song – freedom.  Unity is not something that will arrive overnight.  It has been building and becoming.  It is.

We are One.  Our realization of that truth is bringing us out of the closet.  We help each other without expectation.  We join hands in protest and in song.  We talk out loud about our “Galactic Families”, about ending the corruption and creating joy; about the importance of love.  It is not exactly as we expected; it is so much better.

We are allowing ourselves to seamlessly morph into Oneness.  Who else but humans could do it this way?  We are experiencing the fullness of our own evolution, individually and collectively.  It has all the elements of life we came here for; tension, anticipation, surprise, pain, pleasure, defeat, success and love.  We did this.  We are doing this right now.  We are performing beyond anyone’s wildest expectations.  Maybe help hasn’t arrived from the skies because we are doing just fine.  Everyone is watching; it’s all good. This is happening.  It is happening because we say it is. We know who we are and we are doing what it is we came to do, perfectly. We are awesome!  Great job!

We are the One we’ve been waiting for. 

Free Will

Free will is an interesting idea.  We can choose.  There is no cosmic decider making our decisions for our own good.  It comes always to us.

As a child when I heard about free will I thought “How free is it really? When, if you make the wrong choice, this thunderbolt God will strike you down.”  I was 8 years old; the beginnings of my questioning.

I am no longer a child, and today I question pretty much everything.  We’ve been lied to and it no longer matters if it was deliberate or not, not really.  What matters are the choices we make.  In this year of 2012 our eyes are being opened.  I must admit that mine are like a deer caught in headlights – they are wide open.

As each day and new revelation passes, our choices become informed choices.  We are no longer feeling around in the dark, hoping not to anger the lender or God or official we are dealing with.  With an idea of what’s really going on, we are claiming our place as sovereign beings of light, living in a reality that’s been controlled and manipulated by those who serve only themselves.  The choice to worship, fear, listen to or obey these beings is always ours; free will.

What will you choose?  The effects of your choice will play out in your every day.  Realize that this choice is not evidenced only with your actions.  It is demonstrated with your heart.  What we haven’t been told is the truth of our own power.  We’ve grown up in a manipulated world, trusting logic over intuition.  The wisdom you hold is found in your heart.  Its perceptual capabilities exceed those of your brain.  If you nourish those, and approach each decision from a heart space rather than a head space, your will is free. 

Those that have controlled us have done so with our head.  They fed us information to cause fear and obedience, worship and subservience.  With your heart engaged, those emotional reactions are negated.  There is no fear in love.

Oneness is already understood at a deep visceral level.  The ancients got it.  When you hear stories of the wisdom keepers and their traditions and methods, you doubt them.  That is your head, which has been fed untruths and limitations your entire life.

Listen with your heart.  If what you hear is truth, you’ll know what to do.  Lies feel heated and uncomfortable and can be frightening.  Trust.  The answers to all questions are within.  Your heart will lead you to information, places and people that stimulate your own knowing.

Breathe, We are One

Hello!  Today marks the halfway moment on this Quest.  You are “Just as far in as you’ll ever be out.” (Anna Nalick – Breathe)

What does that mean?  It means we have a choice.  Right now.  We can still go either direction, and with equal effort get where we are headed.  We know what going back to duality looks like.  What will it take to get to Oneness?

To proceed from here on you must be willing to see through the illusion.  We have a saying in our house, you have to “buy the rubber suit”; a reference to the old Godzilla movies, where you could actually pick out the zipper on the monster.  If you wanted to get the most out of the show, you had to ignore the zipper, and believe the costume.

For us to reach a state of unity we’ll have to remember, with or without a zipper, that this is all a finely tuned performance.  I am not my body.  I chose her to express and experience a lifetime.  She’s been here a few years, has a history and a future.  Yet she is not me.  I am a light, a force, a unique aspect of Divinity.  I chose every moment she experienced.  None of those moments define who I am.  they were merely scenes in the play of my life. This is the truth for each of us.

In order for us to embrace Oneness, we must remember there is a rubber suit and notice always the light beneath.  Life demands that we play our roles – we are light workers in costume.  We look like fathers, mothers, sisters, brothers or orphans.  We are privileged and poor, suffering and celebrating, vibrant and ill.  We are doctors, lawyers, therapists, plumbers, engineers, scientists, musicians and teachers.  This time, in this life, we have picked one, two or a dozen of these outfits to wear; these “rubber suits”.

There is difference between pity and compassion.  Have compassion without pity, for pity separates and compassion unites.  In this life you may appear to be more fortunate than some others.  If that is true, and you are moved to share your abundance, then do so.  Always give in a way that honors the recipient without creating a state of being beholden or subservient. The roles we choose are many.  Rest assured you have at one time walked in everyone’s shoes, as they have in yours.

Without these shoes we are One.  There is no difference – we’ve all come to serve.  What are we serving?  We are propelling our own evolution – individually and collectively, by playing out our roles.  We are serving the ultimate gift – we are offering love.  It is what emanates from our very pores and right through these shoes and rubber suits.

When you engage with another who appears to be in need, you have been gifted.  He or she is shining a light on a part of you that you need to see – whether it be compassion or indifference; their presence has called it forth.  There is no right or wrong, there is only experience.

From here on in, in order to proceed towards Oneness, we’ll have to remember the “rubber suit” and honor the light within.  Every time.

If we can get there, as often as possible, our traveling will be easy.  Then Oneness will be all that we see, and our path will be brilliantly lit with the lights of our seven billion souls.

We are the One we’ve been waiting for.
